Kaylee – Muraho!

Muraho from the Rwanda-A-Team!

We have all been having an amazing time here in Gashora, Rwanda so far. We have started our work in the community by building kitchen gardens for families who have HIV. These gardens will provide a sustainable food source for the families that they are unable to receive anywhere else. All the community members are willing to help and so thankful for the services we are providing. All the children come running up to us with open arms and smiles. It is incredible to see.

Today we started working with the health center workers to help improve their English. The teacher, Breanna, has created a great curriculum. This was both a difficult and rewarding task because all the workers were on different ends of the spectrum in terms of what they knew.

We are all excited to continue our work with the kitchen gardens and teaching English and we will be sure to keep you all updated!
